What's the difference between soft tooling and production tooling?

Soft tooling uses aluminium or silicone moulds for low-volume runs (50–500 units) and pre-production validation, while production tooling involves hardened steel moulds for mass production (10,000+ units). We help you choose the right option based on your volume, budget, and timeline.

How long does it take to make an injection mould?

Using our in-house design and machining capabilities, most soft tools are ready in 7–14 days, while production tools take 3–6 weeks, depending on complexity. This allows you to validate your design quickly before committing to large-scale tooling.

Can I get Mould flow analysis before making the tool?

Yes, we offer full moldflow simulation to predict material flow, cooling time, weld lines, and potential defects. This helps you optimise the mould design before cutting metal, reducing rework and improving first-pass quality.
