The Automotive industry continuously engages in new product development, and Marcopolo has worked closely with R&D teams to make fitment and functional prototypes for various components across systems.

The offerings include rapid prototyping using 3D Printing, Vacuum Casting / RIM and Machining to make prototypes in a time and cost effective manner. The Auto industry heavily uses soft / prototype tooling for their functional part production and testing. Marcopolo makes these injection moulded parts in the desired end-use plastic, and offers assembly and testing support to the industry. Additionally, the company is capable of procuring standard parts as per specification and outsource some manufacturing, to finally assemble all components in-house for the client. Clients also leverage Marcopolo’s tooling and injection moulding capabilities for pre-production batches, thus being able to reduce time-to-market while their final production tooling is prepared.
