About Injection Moulding

Marcopolo produces high precision and quality plastic components using injection moulding. The dedicated Moulding Shop has four machines from 20 ton to 130 ton to produce complex parts with very low tolerance. The machines are complemented with all relevant moulding accessories to maintain optimal conditions throughout the process.

The dedicated Moulding Shop has four machines from 20 ton to 130 ton to produce complex parts with very low tolerance. The machines are complemented with all relevant moulding accessories to maintain optimal conditions throughout the process.

Components are made in a variety of engineered plastics including Polyamide, Polycarbonate, Polypropylene, ABS, etc. and some high performance plastics like PEEK and PEI (ULTEM). Raw materials are sourced globally as per the client’s requirement to deliver the desired quality and finish. Moulds are designed and developed to support Insert Moulding and Over Moulding as well.

There are dedicated assembly and testing areas developed to offer a one-stop solution to the client for part production, assembly of child parts, and testing as per requirement. The highly skilled team of moulders and assemblers have delivered complex parts and assemblies with excellent surface finish globally.

Larger injection moulding machines with capacity up to 850 tons are outsourced to produce larger components.
