About Machining
Marcopolo’s Tool Room is equipped to produce machined parts for prototyping and low volume manufacturing. High precision components can be machined in metals like Steel and Aluminum, and plastics like Nylon (Polyamide), ABS, PEEK, PEI (ULTEM), etc. Metal and high performance plastics are often machined to make end-use parts in small quantities.
Machining can be more cost effective than other technologies for low volume requirements. The Shilpin Champion SE 4468 CNC machine can go up to 40,000 RPM for higher precision components, with tolerance up to +/- 0.02 mm.
